A little bit more about me
I’m a mother to Zippora and Ody, the beauty columnist for Wellbeing Magazine, the women’s health columnist for WILD magazine and regularly create video and written content for health focused brands and publications including Vogue, MUKTI, Russh Magazine, Nine news and The Beauty Chef.
I live in a little village in the Northern Rivers hinterland with my husband and daughter.
I am happiest in nature, with my family, cooking, dancing or reading.
How I arrived here
Years of experimenting with contraceptive methods without proper education resulted in an array of emotional, reproductive and endocrine health implications that took years to rebalance.
It surprised and saddened me how little I knew about my own body’s intelligence and how capable it is of telling me what is happening at the deepest of levels if only I listened. Following these years of misunderstanding, I began to seek answers and came to realise just how much truth there is in the saying ‘knowledge is power’. This awareness led me to immerse myself in the wisdom of science and nature and embark on my journey in studying a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in naturopathic, nutritional and herbal medicine.
When you truly understand your body, you feel empowered to make informed decisions regarding your health and happiness. I’ve found that continuous learning, evidence-based natural medicine and creating a balanced life is key to preventing future health implications.
I hope to encourage you to question and understand what you use on and in your body, to tune in to your individual needs, recognize when your body is expressing that something is not quite right and to rise up and take control of your life.
I hope that I can inspire you in some way on your journey to true wellness.
