As written for The Vista. Tonight, Monday November 14, the closest full moon in 68 years will rise into the sky and this magnificent sight will not be seen again for another 18 years. It makes sense why this illuminating beauty is referred to as a super moon!

The super moon is incredibly important as it reminds us of the immense magic and power Mother Nature possesses. Our days are often spent racing around ticking off to do lists, not sparing much time to appreciate what we really love about life. When Mother Nature captures our attention with something completely out of our control it puts a lot into perspective. Allowing these spectacular events in nature to be a gentle, yet bold reminder to stop, reflect and re-centre can help bring balance into your life. There are a number of rituals you can use to welcome a new cycle, some I have shared HERE

However, this super moon is particularly extraordinary so I propose you use Mother Natures force and energy to your advantage. Sit on the earth under the moon shine and begin to listen. Listen to what your body is telling you; often our heart is screaming to be heard but our strong willed minds wont listen. Now is the time to be still and connect with your inner most desires.

What would you like to welcome into your life? What is holding you back? Allow the thoughts to rise and speak them into existence. This is the time to make yourself a promise, to strive for what really brings you happiness, contentment and a life filled with love. After all when you are happy and in the flow, anything is possible.

‘And, when you really want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” ― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.
